Here is the progress of the rail system. The top & bottom picture are from today. The fireplace just needs a few pieces and to be grouted. I can only put some many pics on one post so you can see below more interior shots of the progress. The next task....Mike Reiter will be laying all the hardwood floor and Mike Reuter, they are different people, will be doing the stone on our master fireplace so I will update throughout the week. Doug is in Mexico drinking toddies so he won't be back in the house until next week.

Here are some interior shots of the progress.
The top pic is of the crown moulding, the next couple shots are of our hardwood floor, Mike R. is being to put stone on our master fireplace, and the bottom shot is a picture of the dining room with trey ceiling. Chris just did the faux finish on it today. All this room needs is the crown moulding, trim and hardwood it will be done

Doug, Mike & Mike (stone) got some detailing done today. The blue room is Mack's room and the green is a spare bedroom. These two rooms are the only rooms with a non neutral color in them. Every other room is in the tan or gray family. We are excited about our doors, they are beautiful.....thanks to Jeff Ortner:) Tomorrow Doug is going to work on the railing, Mike will continue to hang the trim and doors, the other Mike will continue to put stone on the fireplace. They are going to start laying the hardwood either Friday or Monday. I will update more then.

I have added 2 posts....one interior and one exterior. Mack was a huge help out at the house this weekend mudding and taping the basement....not really. Kevin and Vance helped us on Sunday which was much appreciated, we weren't expecting that so thanks a ton to them! We are hauling some bootie to get the interior painted. In a perfect world, we would like to be done by Monday so that Doug and Mike can start hanging trim and doors. We will do our best to make that happen but we are only 2 people working full time. Chris worked out there all day today priming the upstairs. Every night this week and this weekend we will be out there painting room by room until we are done. Our sider, Dan Smith, is making some head way but still has plenty to do. We had to call and have some rock delivered out there for a make shift driveway because it is so messy with all the snow melting. It will definitely help! More to come when the paint colors get on the wall.....stay tuned!
