The railing is completed and looks awesome!!! It truly makes the house. Our kitchen cabinets have begun to be installed, along with the vanities in all the baths, and you'll see a pic of the laundry room cabinets below. You'll see in the last pic a shot of Mike Reuter's work with putting the stone on the pillars. He has one more to do and then he will be done in the inside of the house. See below post for exterior shots. More to come!

Here are some exterior shots. The top pic is just one example of why we had to fire our sider this week. Thanks to Jeff, Doug, Mike and Geeber for pointing out a numerous amount of errors made by the guy we hired to do the siding. To make a long story short, a lot of the siding on every side has to be torn down and then put back up:( Chris's brother Jeff has offered to do this.....many thanks to Jeff. Other shots are our deck and the hardware on our garage doors.

Most of these shots are of the hardwood floor throughout the main level. Mike Reiter has done a great job:) The top pic is of the great room, the second one is one of my favorite pics. I am standing at our front door looking into the house. The next shot is the dining room and the one below that is a shot of the hallway. What you see on the floor everywhere are pieces of cardboard protecting the floor from all the contractor's traffic. The last pic is of our Master Fireplace. Mike Reuter, stone guy, finished that on Friday night. It looks fabulous!! He will begin working on our pillars that hold up the stairs and then I would imagine, he'll move to the outside of our house.

Geeber, our tile guy has been hard at work getting our tile done. He has finished both the Mudd Room (pic below) and the 1/2 Bath on main level. We now have a toilet because of it as you can see:) He has the kitchen durarocked and seams taped off to begin the tile work in there. He also has the upstairs bath durarocked (picture shown below). You can also see that our electrician, Dave Haskin, has been working hard too. He and his helper, Ben, have all the light switches, outlets, exhaust fans and can lights put in. All he is waiting for, and so are we, are all our fixtures to get in from the ARJAY center. We are just waiting on the sconces to get here from California. I have a pic of our can lights and exhaust fan in our master bath shown below.
